We design and build custom and standardised mobile, laser-guided CNC-robotic milling machines for automated, single-pass operation weld profiling and fatigue strength improvement.
The TM401 is a 6-axis motion mobile robot for high rate and CNC-quality weld profiling of inside and outside girth weld seams in in monopiles and towers
Weld cap and weld toe undercuts are removed in a single-pass process operating at 30–60 meters/hour
Plate off-sets and thickness transitions – both tapered and non-tapered – are profiled automatically and in accordance with recommended practice
Process is dust-free, and surface finish is < Ra 3.2
