- Weld cap and weld toe undercuts are removed in a single-pass process operating at 30–60 meters/hour
- Plate off-sets and thickness transitions – both tapered and non-tapered – are profiled automatically and in accordance with recommended practice
- Process is dust-free, and surface finish is < Ra 3.2
